Mission Statement
Abundance Life Ministries aims to reach people through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to preach and teach the Gospel through evangelism, sound doctrine, biblical teaching, and outreach that equips people with the Word of God to live a victorious life.
Vision Statement
The vision of Abundance Life Ministries is to reach out to the community where many will be encouraged, and their faith will be strengthened by the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. ALM will witness to the unsaved so that they may receive salvation through evangelizing the Word of God.
President — Rod E. Stanley
Vision Statement
Rod E. Stanley is the President of the Board of Directors for ALM Ministries. With nearly 15 years of civil and military service, Mr. Stanley makes time every day to serve his country, his family, and his community. He is a disabled U.S. Navy veteran and a federal civil servant with the Department of Defense.
In 2009, Mr. Stanley organized and led community change campaigns throughout Washington, DC. He has served as a Resident Chaplain at Washington Hospital Center and Georgetown University Hospital, and volunteered at the Beacon House Community Center tutoring youth. He’s worked in video ministry, conducted outreach at community centers, and mentors young adults across the DMV region.
Rod continues to work hand-in-hand with area leaders to promote social change, and he is passionate about helping others grow spiritually and reach their God-given potential. His goals include launching food assistance programs, school supply drives, and job training for veterans.
ALM is a Christian organization that provides spiritual support to those in need, with a focus on women and youth. We help others find Jesus and build strong community connections.
Community – We work together and grow as one body.
Accountability – We keep commitments and build trust.
Mission Awareness – We act with purpose, always aligned with our vision.
In 2020, the pandemic left many without spiritual support. ALM was founded to meet that need and offer healing, encouragement, and biblical truth.
ALM leads evangelism, networking, and leadership programs, including:
Daily Bible reading groups
Women’s leadership events
Youth and men’s ministry
Prayer team
Blog and spiritual media
Health/wellness activities
Needs assessments and community support
You can join a small group that receives a daily Bible reading plan and discusses Scripture together.

Through fundraising campaigns, donations and sponsorships, and grants for specific ministry projects.
